Breezy summer icons. Our Sand Dollar print started as a hand-cut stencil, with a few sharpie detail sketches added in.

The little white discs you find at the beach are actually the skeletons of sand dollars. These flat invertebrates are related to sea urchins and starfish; when alive they are covered in velvety skin that helps them move across the ocean floor. 

Sand dollars can live for 6-10 years and just like trees, you can tell their age by the number of rings on their plates!
